Future Electronics and Actel Corporation Present Webinar: Fundamentals of Mixed-Signal FPGAs

Filed under: Releases — jwoodstock @ 11:05 am

Montreal, Canada – May 21, 2009 – Future Electronics is pleased to announce a new Webinar titled “Fundamentals of Mixed-Signal FPGAs,” co-sponsored with Actel Corporation, available from May 14 – August 15, 2009.

Featured as a learning course on www.techonline.com, the Webinar is hosted by Clive “Max” Maxfield, who discusses mixed-signal FPGAs, describes how to use them, and explains why design engineers will benefit from them.

Most people think of FPGAs as being primarily digital logic devices, but Actel’s mixed-signal FPGAs provide a mixture of programmable analog fabric combined with programmable digital fabric and flash memory. The ability to add ARM® Cortex™-M1 or 8051 soft microprocessors to the digital fabric opens the door to a wide range of applications, such as motor control and system management.

The intended audience includes engineers who specialize in FPGA or microprocessor design and especially those who are either new to the field or need to learn about the latest, most advanced technologies to meet their design needs.

The Webinar requires approximately 35 minutes, and there are no prerequisites.
